A vibrant pink wine with strawberry and cream flavours and refreshing summer fruit notes. This is a light and slightly sweet, fruity wine perfect with fish dishes and green, leafy salads.
Kumala Zenith Chenin/Chardonnay Blend
70% Chenin Blanc, 20% Chardonnay, 10% Viognier
Winemakers’ Tasting Notes
The wine has a clean and attractive light colour with a green tint to confirm the freshness. Very concentrated tropical fruit flavours and creaminess on back palate. Well-rounded and good mineral length, supported by solid acidity with a hint of American oak. Great on its own or ideal with full-flavoured chicken dishes, Thai cuisine and vegetarian dishes.

35% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Shiraz, 10% Viognier

Very attractive bright red colour. Red berry fruit on the nose and concentrated fruit cake flavours. Rich nuttiness follows through on the palate. Good acid/tannin balance. Lingering after taste with a touch of chocolate and vanilla oak. Perfect on its own or ideal with grilled BBQ food, Indian curries, pizza and pasta dishes with tomato based or meaty sauces.

Kumala Western Cape Shiraz
100% Shiraz
Winemakers’ Tasting Notes
Deep opaque, ruby appearance and still showing youth. Attractive palate with hints of dark chocolate, rounded by velvet and plumy flavours, which softens the palate. Soft tannin, concentrated mulberry flavours and a hint of American oak give the wine a long lingering taste. Best enjoyed with red meat and rich cheeses.
Kumala Western Cape Chardonnay
100% Chardonay – Slightly Oaked
Winemakers’ Tasting Notes
Lychee undertones. Acidity gives structure and length to the palate and slight vanilla oak creaminess gives roundness to the palate. Excellent with picnics and light summery food. Seafood, white meats and salads.
Kumala Red Wine
60% Ruby Cabernet/40 % Cinsaut
Winemakers’ Tasting Notes
Bright Ruby Red Colour, with bouquet of plums and red berry fruit. Good extract and length with a smooth, elegant finish. Great to enjoy on its own or with tomato based pastas.
Kumala Medium Sweet Red Wine
60% Ruby Cabernet/40% Cinsaut
Winemakers’ Tasting Notes
Intense Ruby colour, with bouquet of plums and red berry fruit. Delicate aroma and sweet reminiscent taste of dried fruits. Enjoy it alone or accompanying meat with sweet sauces, fruit and nuts.
Kumala White Wine
45% Chenin Blanc / 45% Colombard / 10% Muscat

Bright clear wine, with light straw colour and hint of green tint. Fresh floral nose with hints of pineapple + tropical fruit. Crispy acidity for longer mouth feel, well structured. Great to enjoy on its own or with seafood dishes, salads

50% Chenin Blanc / 30% Colombard /10% Muscat

Fresh floral nose with hints of pineapple and tropical fruit. Crispy acidity for longer mouthfeel. Well structured mouth feel and complemented by apple and pear tones on finish.
